# RomandIX

> RomandIX est un Internet Exchange Point (IXP), basé à Lausanne, Suisse. Internet eXchange de Suisse Romande, à but non lucratif.

## Overview

RomandIX est l'Internet eXchange de Suisse Romande, basé à Lausanne. En tant qu'association à but non lucratif, nous connectons les opérateurs, hébergeurs et fournisseurs de contenu pour un trafic internet plus rapide, plus proche, et moins cher. Notre infrastructure d'un VLAN IX gère un réseau peering public LAN. Nous sommes présents à Brainserve, Crissier, dans deux salles de télécommunications distinctes pour la haute disponibilité.

## Règles d'adhésion et gouvernance

L'adhésion s'ouvre à tous les opérateurs et acteurs du réseau en Suisse romande et en Suisse. Les membres signent un contrat d'adhésion stipulant le respect des régles de l'association. Cotisation annuelle : CHF 400 (inclut un port 1Gb ou 10Gb). Setup (NRC) unique : CHF 500 ou CHF 1'000 selon le type de connexion.

## Infrastructure

Le réseau LAN d'adresse 185.1.93.0/24 (IPv4) et 2001:7f8:b5::/64 (IPv6) s'étend sur deux route servers, RS1 et RS2 (protocole AS 41882). RomandIX offre un peering public via un route server, et supporte les connexions BIDI 1G, 1000BaseLX, 10G BIDI et 10G LR. Côté datacenter, les crossconnects Telco Nord et Telco Sud sont fournis par Brainserve, à Crissier.
